Cape St. George has more walking trails than you can traverse in a month of Sundays. Many are traditional trails used by the local people well before the road over the mountain was completed. Each year the Town puts up signage and markers so that people who are not from here can find their way over some of the best wilderness, forest seascapes in the province.
Many trails skirt the spectacular cliffs that jut up to a thousand feet over the ocean and the gannet colony. You can spend days on these trails and continue to be thrilled by some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.
